To celebrate Thanksgiving through a contemporary lens, Thompson Madrid hosted a gathering designed to reinterpret this American tradition within a local, sophisticated context aligned with the hotel’s universe. The concept was rooted in translating the spirit of private New York gatherings into the Madrid scene, creating an intimate experience that would resonate with influential profiles from the worlds of fashion, culture and lifestyle. The hotel’s penthouse — one of the city’s most exclusive spaces — became the setting for this vision, shaping a narrative centred on hospitality, design and community within a carefully curated and highly aspirational environment.

Within this framework, Fabra Comunicación led the creative concept, full event production and organic guest curation across press and influencers, as well as on-site content management and capture. The event was designed as a cocktail-format gathering, bringing together key profiles in an intimate setting with a strong aesthetic identity and a clear editorial perspective. The experience combined subtle references to the New York imaginary — including nods to Gossip Girl and the Upper East Side — with the inherent warmth of Thanksgiving. The gastronomic proposal was articulated through a selection of small bites inspired by traditional American recipes, reinterpreted with a contemporary approach. The scenography incorporated sculptural elements such as “harvest croquembouche” towers made from seasonal produce, serving as focal points within the space and reinforcing the visual narrative of the event.
